For over 50 years, The Traffic Club has awarded scholarships to local college students related to our members. We view this as an essential part of our community involvement, and an ideal way to help the next generation toward their goals. The Club sponsors at least one award annually of no less than $1000, and in some years have provided two awards depending on the number of students applying and the quality of the submissions. The award is based on academic performance, community involvement, and the candidate's presentation of themselves through an essay submitted as part of their application.
